The bedroom is one of the most important spaces in the home. It is here that you connect the power of the Universe to promote longevity and love. If you sleep alone, here we will give you practical tips to activate love in that space. If you live with a partner, you should know that this is the place to consecrate sexuality and eternal union with great pleasure. It is highly recommended that it be located in a coordinate of the earth element, such as the southwest or northeast. If you live with a partner, it is ideal to place the headboard of your bed on an auspicious coordinate of the man's Kua number (or Yang energy) of the couple. THE MARITAL BEDROOM

 This is the room that should be most balanced, as the Yin and Yang energies reside in it. Both individuals should have dominion over this space, so it is vital that the decoration is to the liking of the couple who will share their sexuality and rest in this intimate and exclusive environment.

 

Colors. The most auspicious will be those recommended according to the Kua number. Kua 1, 2, 3, 4, and 9 from the east group should use shades of green combined with neutrals. For Kua 2, 6, 7, and 8 from the west group, ochre, brown, or terracotta are recommended.

Shapes. Square or rectangular shapes are ideal for this type of decoration. It is important to use them in a dual form.

Textures. Lingerie or sheets should preferably be solid colors. Recommended fabrics should be silk or very fine and soft to the touch. Use light and sophisticated duvets, such as those made of down or delicate textures. If you like pillows, make sure they also follow the soft, light, and sensual style of your lingerie.

Materials. Wood such as pine, cedar, and beech, laminate, and wood particleboard in European styles. Wrought iron is not recommended by Feng Shui for bedrooms.

 

FURNITURE

The bed. It is recommended that they follow avant-garde and geometric lines, designed in wood as raw material in all its versions. They come in colors ranging from pine, beech, and cedar (the lighter ones) to wenge and mahogany, which are the darker wood tones. The size of the bed should be full, King size, or Queen. The couple should never sleep on divided or joined mattresses, as this could somehow promote separation.

Tables. It is recommended to use one nightstand on each side of the bed to always establish duality. A wooden chest can also be placed in front of the bed to activate the stability of the couple.

Closets. The best are those designed in wood in all their styles. They should remain closed to avoid clutter and clean within these spaces.

 

ACTIVATE LOVE IN YOUR BEDROOM

Generally, young women's bedrooms have stuffed animals, dolls, toys, and objects that make the room very Yin. Therefore, to balance your energy, you should discard childhood objects and add objects that relate to your new stage of life. Also include an object that relates to Yang energy, such as a lamp in orange, red, or intense pink tones to attract your ideal man. Single men also have an excess of Yang energy in their bedrooms, such as war objects, abstract paintings, or posters of favorite artists. Change all that and opt to activate Yin energy as well, to attract the ideal woman. A painting or symbol of the Moon can be perfect. Bedrooms that denote a certain pure, virginal, and ultra-delicate atmosphere, with religious images, should also be changed to an atmosphere that denotes and activates sensuality in colors, shapes, textures, and symbols for the perfect partner to arrive.

 

BASIC PREMISES

Colors. As in marital bedrooms, choose colors that activate sensuality. Subtly use red, chocolate, and wine red tones, which activate passion. Blue tones are not recommended for walls or lingerie, as they create environments of solitude.

Shapes. Preferably use square ones.

Textures. Aim to use the same textures as in marital bedrooms.

Materials. Wood and its derivatives are the most recommended.

 

FENG SHUI SYMBOLS TO ACTIVATE LOVE

• Photographs and symbols of happy and united couples. Couples embracing and kissing (for example, Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss" sculpture). • Symbol of double happiness, double wealth. • Butterflies, dragonflies, hearts. • Symbol of the peach blossom. • Flowers and photographs of always dual travel and landscapes, if your desire is to activate love. • Symbol of mandarin ducks tied with a red ribbon.

  

RECOMMENDATIONS

• Avoid images of solitary people. This could prevent you from activating love in your life. Always look for dual or couple images and symbols, such as mandarin ducks, ideal for placing in the coordinate where the love star of the current year flies.
• As it is the most Yin room in your home, try to have lights that can be adjusted to your taste. Windows should have curtains or blinds to avoid excessive sunlight or Yang energy.
• The ceiling of your room should be completely smooth, without beams. If there are any, use a false ceiling to correct the problem.
• Mirrors should be hidden inside closet doors.
• Place soft, woolly rugs. Prefer chocolate or wine tones.
• Maintain duality in couple's rooms: use two nightstands on each side of the bed, two floor rugs, two lamps…
• Bed sheets should be made of silk, cotton, or linen. These materials allow energy to flow properly around your body.

Paintings. The most appropriate are those alluding to landscapes that do not contain the water element. The most suitable are those representing flowers or engravings of living nature. Images of happy couples will be great for both those still looking for a partner and for married couples.

 Sculptures. Those made with the metal element are favorites for this style if placed in coordinates such as north, west, and northwest, because they harmonize two elements of the constructive cycle: water and metal. Abstract figures with right or pointed angles should be avoided. If you prefer animated forms, representations of dolphins or dancing couples can be used, creating curved lines of their bodies.

Lighting. On walls, tables, or the ceiling, bedroom light is important for creating a relaxed and dim atmosphere. Depending on the room's stay, the lighting should be calibrated in its brightness. In some cases, wall sconces or floor lamps with dimmers are used.
